قال محامو الأمير هاري، حفيد الملكة إليزابيث الثانية ملكة بريطانيا، وزوجته ميغان ماركل، اليوم، إن الزوجين يخططان لإنهاء كل تعاملهما الإعلامي ومقاطعة أكبر الصحف الشعبية البريطانية.
ونقلت صحيفة «ذا غارديان» عن خطاب لمحامي الزوجين، يتهمون فيه الصحف الشعبية، ومن بينها «ذا صن» و«ديلي ميل» الشهيرتان، بنشر قصص «محرفة أو زائفة أو مزعجة إلى درجة كبيرة جداً».
وكان محامو هاري (البالغ 35 عاماً) وميغان (البالغة 38 عاماً)، حذروا وسائل الإعلام البريطانية في يناير الماضي من مضايقة الزوجين بعد إعلانهما عن خططهما بشأن التخلي عن الواجبات الملكية.

ومن المقرر أن يقدم محامو ميغان دعوى ضد صحيفة «ميل أون صنداي» أمام محكمة بريطانية الجمعة المقبل.
